ServSafe training will prepare your restaurant operation to meet the state mandated training requirements for foodservice personnel, and will empower employees with the knowledge and skills they need to prepare and serve food safely. This course is led by our Corporate Chef and Culinary Specialist, who are certified ServSafe instructors and proctors.
There is no charge to our customers for taking this complimentary ServSafe course. There is a $100 cost per student to cover the cost of materials only (the textbook and exam).
All attendees will receive the following:
- Full day training session with our culinary team
- ServSafe Essentials textbook
- Exam and proctoring of exam
This is an 8 hour course, and the exam is taken during the final 2 hours. All courses begin at 8:00 AM.
In order to be eligible to take the exam, students must bring a valid ID and a #2 pencil.
Registration is required 3 weeks prior to date of class - workshops require a minimum number of 10 participants in order to run. If a class is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, you will be notified. Register early! With early registration, the student will be sent a text book prior to the start date of the class. Any cancellations must be received prior to the 3-week registration deadline or the student will still be charged the course fee to cover the cost of materials. Students will be given a one hour lunch break.
